McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park

Burney Fall is about 20 minute drive from the Himont Motel. The park’s centerpiece is the 129-foot Burney Falls, which is not the highest or largest waterfall in the state, but possibly the most beautiful. Additional water comes from springs, joining to create a mist-filled basin.

Fort Crook Museum

The Fort Crook Museum is a volunteer-run history museum in Fall River Mills, California, focused on the Intermountain region’s Native American and pioneer history. Established in 1934, the museum is housed in a collection of buildings, including a main building modeled after a round barn, a historical schoolhouse, jail, and the last remaining log cabin from the original Fort Crook.
