Check In – Is from 3:00 PM to closing. Guest arriving after closing, must request a late check-in in advance.

Check Out – Is at 11:00 AM. Please leave your key in your room.

Cash Paying Guests – Must prepay entire stay + $100 security deposit, refundable at check out after room inspection.

Cancellation Policy –

The Hi Mont Motel has a 24-hour cancellation policy. To cancel, call before 3 p.m. the day before your reservation. If you cancel within the 24 hour period you will be charged one nights stay.

For holiday periods, the cancellation policy is 48 hours. To cancel, call before 3 p.m. two days before your reservation.  If you cancel within the 48 hour period you will be charged one nights stay.

If you have a reservation and you do not show up, you will be charged  one-night stay and will lose the rest of your reservation if we do not hear from you.

Large group bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit six weeks in advance of stay.


Internet Service – The Cold Creek Inn is proud to offer complimentary WiFi Internet access in all guest rooms. Instructions for using this service are available at the front desk. By gaining access to the Service, you agree to abide by the Terms of WiFi Use located on the WiFi sign in page . If you do not agree to all of the Terms of WiFi Use, please do not use the Service.

Parking – One parking space per room for registered guests. The motel cannot be responsible for items left in vehicles on motel property.

Our Pet PolicyThe Hi Mont Motel is proud to be a pet friendly motel. This policy exists to ensure the comfort of all our guests (pet owners and non-pet owners alike) and the safety of the Hi Mont Motel Staff. To accomplish this we have created the following pet policy.

  • Pet owners must let us know upon check-in that they are traveling with a pet(s).
  • Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
  • The motel has a pet area. When taking your pet outdoors (so they can take care of business), please be sure to use this designated area. Plastic bags are available for this purpose.
  • Housekeeping: Pets must be removed from the room before housekeeping can enter to clean your room.
  • Please do not use our towels or bathroom to clean your pet.
  • Pets must be free of flea/tick/insect infestations.
  • Pets may not be left alone in the room or anywhere on the property.
  • Pets are welcome in designated rooms. 
  • There is a non-refundable $20 pet fee for a single bed per night and $30 pet fee for a double (+) beds per night, with a two night maximum charge. Guests keeping pets in their room without notifying our front desk may be charged a room-cleaning fee of $250 per room.

Phone Calls – Local & 800 phone calls are FREE, all other calls require a pre-paid phone card (can be purchased at the front desk).

Property Policy – This property is privately owned and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind. You agree to hold the owners, employees of The Hi Mont Motel harmless from any and all damages and /or liabilities to real and/or personal property, and/or bodily injury to you, and members of your party while staying on this property. Excessive Cleaning – In the event that the room needs excessive cleaning, the guests maybe charged up to $250. Room Entry -No guest may keep the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door for more than two day. On the third day the room must be entered and cleaned. Extra Guests – rooms are designed to sleep a maximum of two guests per bed, extra guests maybe charged up to $20 per person.

Quiet Time – The Hi Mont Motel has a 10:00 PM noise curfew. If disturbing the peace and quiet of the other guests, you will be given and warning, if the noise continues you will be asked to leave the motel without a refund.

Non-Smoking Property – Smoking is not allowed in guest rooms or the lobby. If you choose to smoke outside, there is no smoking with 25 feet of motel doorways and windows . Always use the ashtrays provided at the designated smoking areas. Please note that guests who smoke in our rooms or indoor common areas of the motel will be assessed a minimum $250 per room recovery fee. Additional charges for associated damage may also apply.
